Canberra was part of the PO Cruises fleet until 1997 when she was sent to a scrapyard in Pakistan.

At 45270 gross tons she was the largest ship built there. They had to take the fuel off to get her afloat again. Initially named PITTSBURGH but later renamed CANBERRA the ship was commissioned as a BALTIMORE - class heavy gun cruiser.
